Term Coined for the practical and single purpose self defense techniques taught by Sensei Norm at UKA. For example: Mass attacks, mass escapes, improvised weapons, grappling with knives, knife defense, disarming an armed attacker, etc.
Most of the self defense techniques are taught within the context of traditional martial arts techniques. However they are not taught within the context of their original curriculum. At UKA entry level students are exposed to disarming techniques and basic weapons use, traditionally many of these techniques are not taught until green or higher level ranks.
